Artist:Emil Foerster (Pennsylvania, 1822-1906). Title/Subject: Portrait of a lady with pink ribbons, and a gentleman with brown cravat (apair). Size: Each 25in x 22in (unframed). Year Created: 1853. Signature: The gentleman signed verso lower left: "E. Foerster. 1853." The other unsigned. Medium/Ground: Oil on canvas. Condition: Craquelure; both have some areas of in-painting; surface soiling and some slight chipping/losses. Condition Report: All lots are sold as is and where is. Turner Auctions + Appraisals, LLC provides condition reports upon request to aid in your bidding decision.
